Alena Esra Pfanz was born on July 25, 2001 in Karlsruhe. She was exposed to the world of acting from her earliest childhood and soon developed an interest in working in front of the camera and behind it as well.
In 2006, together with her older sister Eleanora, she began to work as a leading actress, host and speaker in “Adventure Around the Corner“, a series of documentary films dealing with nature for children and young people.
This series was shown with great success at the Duisburger Filmwoche in 2007 and at the international nature film festival “Naturale“ in 2006/2007. In addition, the first three parts of the series were included in the program of materials recommended for instruction in public schools by the Department of Education of the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg.
Alena celebrated her acting debut in the feature film “Rox“, a drama about young people directed by Rainer Matsutani. Alena played the role of Eda in the film, whose other actors included Jimi and Wilson Ochsenknecht and Emilia Schüle.
Alena is growing up in a bilingual household; she speaks fluent German and Turkish and is learning French at school. She is also learning to play the piano and the acoustic guitar. She takes karate and dance lessons and enjoys skiing, swimming and snorkeling.
