Eleanora Asrin Pfanz was born on March 31, 1996 in Hamburg. She was exposed to the world of acting from her earliest childhood and soon developed an interest in working in front of the camera and behind it as well.

Eleanora celebrated her debut in front of the camera in 2003 when she acted along with Monica Bleibtreu in the short feature film “Tango del aire“ directed by Chris Roth, which was entered with success in a number of international film festivals.

In the following years Eleanora played several supporting roles, not only in feature films but also in musicals. Since 2006 she has been a leading actress, host and speaker in “Adventure Around the Corner“, a series of documentary films dealing with nature for children and young people.
This series was shown with great success at the Duisburger Filmwoche in 2007 and at the international nature film festival “Naturale“ in 2006/2007. In addition, the first three parts of the series were included in the program of materials recommended for instruction in public schools by the Department of Education of the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg.

She directed a film for the first time in 2008 when she was responsible for the fourth part of the documentary series “Adventure Around the Corner“, titled “Capercaillies in the Black Forest“.

Eleanora is growing up in a bilingual household; she speaks fluent German and Turkish and has also been learning French and English at school for the past two years.
In addition to voice training and singing instruction she is also learning to play the piano and the electric guitar. She takes karate and dance lessons and enjoys skiing, horseback riding, swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing.
